GVO Screening Kits
If you need to know for sure whether or not your sample contains GMOs, you are on the safe side with our GMOScreen kits. The very most relevant GMO varieties are detected with our GMOScreen 35S/NOS kits.
The conventional PCR kit contains PCR premasters (without DNA polymerase) for the CaMV 35S promoter and the A. tumefaciens NOS terminator as well as a plant reference system, and of course control DNA and a length marker for gel electrophoresis. The kit is also optionally available with a DNA extraction part.
Your advantages with the Eurofins GeneScan GMOScreen 35S/NOS kit are:
- Modified and truncated 35S promoters are also detected
- DNA extraction is optionally included
- A supplementary CaMV kit allows you to exclude "false-positive" results caused by the natural presence of the cauliflower mosaic virus in the sample
Our new real-time PCR kit (for ABI 7500, Agilent MX 3000P + 3005P and Bio-Rad iQ5) contains the 35S and NOS detection together with an IPC (internal positive control) in a single well and helps you safe time and labour.
For rapeseed, there is a special kit available, the GMOScreen Rapeseed. It detects all relevant GMO varieties with four detection systems and is optionally available with or without DNA rapeseed extraction. Please download the product sheet for details.
