Update from June 19th, 2019
All laboratories back in operation for you
Eurofins OnLine (EOL) available again
Eurofins OnLine (EOL) is now available again and all EOL users can register and track their samples online. The only limitation is that test reports are not yet available. However, the analysis results can be viewed in EOL as usual. Please note that samples and results from the last two weeks may not yet be fully included in Eurofins OnLine. They will be entered step by step by the laboratories and will soon be fully available in EOL again. Click here for general information about Eurofins OnLine (EOL).
We are also pleased that all Eurofins Food Testing laboratories in Germany have been active again since the beginning of the week. With a few exceptions, the whole range of our service portfolio is again fully available. Many laboratories have been able to successfully reduce the backlog caused by the IT disruption through additional working shifts and the great commitment of all employees. Nevertheless, some locations may still have extended processing times. In case of inquiries, please contact your Analytical Service Manager (ASM).
Update from June 13th, 2019
Many Laboratories in Operation for You
As reported in our press release of 10.06.2019, the investigations conducted by our internal and external IT forensics experts have revealed no evidence of theft or transfer of confidential customer data.
Many laboratories are back in operation for you. Some of them are completely functional again. Due to the ongoing system recovery measures, other locations are still experiencing greater disruption. Overall, however, the availability of the services offered by the Eurofins laboratory network is increasing daily. Please note that in some cases processing times may be extended. Your personal account manager will be glad to give you more detailed information about the current operating status of your laboratory.
In case you tried to contact us via email but have not received a response, yet, please contact your personal account manager or firstname.lastname@example.org again. During the IT recovery process, our e-mail system had to be suspended from time to time.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our customers and business partners for their trust and understanding. We continue to focus all our efforts on providing you with the full range of our services and the speed you expect from us again.
Update from June 6th, 2019
Many Laboratories Back in Operation
The Eurofins IT teams continue to work hard to restore the systems. Not all laboratories were fully affected by the disruptions. Many laboratories are back in operation again.
Due to the ongoing recovery measures, the complete service portfolio is not yet available and some capacities have been reduced. We ask for your understanding. We recommend all customers to contact their responsible Analytical Service Manager (ASM) by phone before sending samples.
June 4th, 2019
June 2019. Over the weekend of 2nd June Eurofins IT security monitoring teams detected a form of ransomware which has caused disruption to some of our IT systems. Together with our external and internal IT security and operations experts, we have taken immediate actions to mitigate the impact and our IT teams are working hard to return all our IT operations to normal.
According to current investigations, there is no reason to believe that there has been third party access to or misuse of any data.
