WEBINAR: Contaminations along the Food Supply Chain
Risk Minimisation Solutions from Farm to Fork
Apr 2019. Food products are susceptible to contamination of all kinds as well as to deliberate or unintentional adulteration – at harvest, during production and transport. In potential contamination, cultivation processes, climate conditions, transportation of crops and physical parameters play a role. In this webinar, the important entry points along the food supply chain are identified and avoidance strategies are outlined which are applicable for various products such as grains, herbs, spices and dried fruits.
In this webinar you learn how to
- analyse the origin of critical contaminants such as moulds/mycotoxins, pesticides and adulterations that prevent access and trade in the EU
- apply hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP)
- develop prevention/minimisation strategies and implementing quality management
- attain transparency through gapless tracking along the supply chain
At the end of the webinar there will be time for your individual questions.
