Erinnerung: IFS Gebühren
Seit dem 01.01.2024 beträgt die Gebühr des IFS 495,-€ für jedes Audit, unabhängig vom Ergebnis, das in das IFS Portal geladen wird. Wie in der Vergangenheit wird diese über Zertifizierungsstelle an den Standardgeber durchgereicht.

- IFS Food Version 8 Doctrine v2
Die Klarstellung in der Doctrin gilt ab sofort mit der gleichen Relevanz wie die Standardanforderungen. Die Guideline gibt einen guten Überblick über die aktuelle Gesetzgebung und zeigt auf, welche Fragen Sie z.B. im Audit erwarten können.
IFS Logistics 3
IFS Logistics Version 3 Audits sind ab dem 1. Juni 2024 möglich und werden ab dem 1. Dezember 2024 verpflichtend.
Die allgemeine Zulassung u.s. Ausnahmen endet am 30. November 2025.
Hier ein Überblick:
- Für unangekündigte Audits: Version 3 gilt, wenn das Auditzeitfenster am oder nach dem 1. Juni 2024 beginnt.
- Für Audits an mehreren Standorten: Sie müssen die Standorte und den Hauptsitz/zentrale Verwaltung nach derselben Version prüfen. Nach dem 1. Dezember 2024 gilt die Version 3 für alle Audits, die am Hauptsitz/zentrale Verwaltung durchgeführt wurden.
- Für Ergänzungsaudits: Wenn das Hauptaudit nach Version 2.3 vor dem 1. Dezember 2024 stattgefunden hat, gilt Version 2.3 auch für das Ergänzungsaudit.
- Für Erweiterungsaudits: Wenn das Hauptaudit nach Version 2.3 vor dem 1. Dezember 2024 stattgefunden hat, gilt Version 2.3 auch für das Erweiterungsaudit.
Wichtigste Änderungen:
- Erweiterung des Anwendungsbereichs des IFS Logistics:
- Einführung von logistischen Verarbeitungsdienstleistungen: einfache Sortierung von Obst und Gemüse, Etikettierung
- Neuer Produktscope: Futtermittel
- Klärung des Anwendungsbereichs von IFS Logistics:
- kurzfristige Lagerung und/oder Transport von Transportbehältern
- Reiner Dienstleister für die Organisation von Transport und Lagerung (Spediteure)
- Ausschlussregeln
- Einführung von teilweise ausgelagerten logistische Verarbeitungsdienstleistungen
- Überarbeitung des Bewertungssystems: Anpassung an IFS Food v8
- Beschreibung der verschiedenen Arten von Logistikstrukturen (z. B. dezentrale Struktur)
- Klarstellungen zu unangekündigten Audits
Auditdauer: 50% vor Ort Bewertung (1/3 Reduktion möglich)

IFS Broker 3.2
Die neue Unterversion des IFS Broker ist veröffentlicht.
Verbindliche Anwendung der neuen Version für alle Broker Audits nach dem 01. Juli 2024.
Da viele IFS Audits kombinierte Audits mit anderen IFS Standards sind, war es unerlässlich, die Version 3.1 an die anderen aktualisierten IFS Standards, insbesondere IFS Food 8 und IFS Logistics 3, anzupassen.
Die wichtigste Änderung betrifft das Punktesystem. In Anlehnung an die anderen IFS Standards stellt die B-Note nun wieder eine Abweichung dar, die eine Korrektur oder Korrekturmaßnahme durch das auditierte Unternehmen erfordert. Im IFS Broker 3.2 wird auch der Stern-Status eingeführt, der signalisiert, dass das Audit unangekündigt war.
IFS Cash & Carry / Wholesale
Der Standardgerber arbeitet aktiv an der Version 3. Es kann erwartet werden, dass diese noch in diesem Jahr veröffentlicht wird.

Reminder: IFS upload fees
Since 01th January 2024, the IFS fee is €495,- for each audit upload, regardless of the audit result. As usual, this is passed to the standard via your certification body.
IFS Food 8
There are 2 new/updated documents on the IFS website available:
- Guideline for the IFS Food Audit Checklist
- IFS Food Version 8 Doctrine v2
The clarification in the Doctrine applies with immediate effect with the same relevance as the standard requirements. The guideline gives a good overview of the current legislation and provides a selection of questions to expect in the audit.
IFS Logistics 3
IFS Logistics Version 3 audits are possible from June 1, 2024 and will become mandatory from December 1, 2024.
The general application of below exemptions ends on November 30, 2025.
IFS Logistics 3:
- For unannounced audits: Version 3 applies if the audit window begins on or after June 1, 2024.
- For audits with multiple locations: You must audit the locations and the head office/central administration according to the same standard version. After December 1, 2024, version 3 applies to all audits conducted at the head office/central administration.
- For extension audits: If the main audit according to version 2.3 took place before December 1, 2024, version 2.3 also applies to the extension audit.
- For follow-up audits: If the main audit according to version 2.3 took place before December 1, 2024, version 2.3 also applies to the follow-up audit.
The most important changes:
- Extension of the scope of IFS Logistics:
- Introduction of logistics processing services: simple sorting of fruit and vegetables, labeling
- New product scope: animal feed
- Clarification of the scope of IFS Logistics:
- Short-term storage and/or transportation of transport containers
- Pure service provider for the organization of transport and storage
- Exclusion rules
- Introduction of partially outsourced logistics processing services
- Revision of the evaluation system: adaptation to IFS Food v8
- Description of the different types of logistics structures (e.g. decentralized structure)
- Clarifications on unannounced audits
Audit duration: 50% on-site evaluation (1/3 reduction possible).

IFS Broker 3.2
A new IFS Broker sub-version is available.
Mandatory application of the new version for all broker audits after July 01, 2024.
Due to the high number of audits combined with other IFS Standards, it was essential to adapt version 3.1 to the other updated IFS Standards, in particular IFS Food 8 and IFS Logistics 3.
The most important change concerns the scoring system. In line with the other IFS Standards, the B grade again represents a deviation that requires correction or corrective action by the audited company, now. IFS Broker 3.2 also introduces the star status, which indicates that the audit was performed unannounced.

The IFS is actively working on version 3, which is expected to be released this year.
