Eurofins WEJ Contaminants is the First Eurofins Food Laboratory to Receive this Award

In October 2018, Eurofins WEJ Contaminants was the first Eurofins food laboratory to be officially awarded the silver status in EcoVadis' CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) rating for its sustainable orientation. As an analysis service provider, Eurofins is thus well above the industry average stated by the rating expert.

As an independent agency, EcoVadis examines the quality level of different processes and results of corporate CSR management. The EcoVadis evaluation methodology covers 21 CSR criteria from the fields of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement and is based on international CSR standards. The rating is intended to contribute to greater transparency between international business partners and recognises the special commitment to greater sustainability and social responsibility throughout the entire supply chain.

Participation in the voluntary assessment showed that Eurofins WEJ Contaminants was among the top 15% of service providers in its industry rated by EcoVadis.
