Tobacco regulations

As more and more regulations are being imposed on the tobacco industry it is important to stay informed.  Some regulations are self-imposed and others come from  regulating entities and cigarette manufacturers. Each entity requires tobacco leaf to be analysed before being used in cigarettes, cigars, chew tobacco and other tobacco related products. Eurofins Dr. Specht Laboratorien GmbH has a close relationship with several regulating entities and keeps up to date with the ever changing requirements.

We have been specialising in tobacco analysis for several years and have adapted and changed to accommodate the needs of the industry. We continually add agrochemicals to our list of analysable analytes, encourage continuing education for our employees and increase equipment and specialised staffing as needed.

Although the majority of our analysis is performed on leaf tobacco, we also test a wide array of associated products.
