Measuring microcirculation in 1mm and 8mm depth
With this method the circulatory parameters relative blood flow and velocity are determined in the measuring volume of the fibreglass probe. Oxygen saturation of the haemoglobin (SO2) and the relative amount of haemoglobin (rHB) are determined in the illuminated tissue volume.
These measurements can be applied as part of studies on dietary supplements and hair studies, in order to document the improved supply of the skin with nutrients and oxygen. They also serve as proof of efficacy for anti-inflammatory product properties.
