Determination of sunscreen UVA photoprotection in vitro

Sunscreen products have not only to protect against UVB rays, but also against sun-induced aging by UVA rays. The determination of the PFA is calculated following the ISO ISO 24443:2022 „Determination of Sunscreen UVA Photoprotection in vitro“. An in vitro-UVAPF of at least 1/3 of the SPF is required.
