Here you will find the presentations of the lectures for download

Oct 2025. From 4 to 8 October 2025, Anuga, which featured exhibitors from around the globe, took place in Cologne. Eurofins looks back on five successful days at the trade fair and would like to thank all visitors to the booth for their interest and positive feedback.

A particular highlight this year was our 7th International Rice Conference. Due to the high level of interest, we have compiled the lecture presentations and made them available to download here.

Organised and held by Eurofins, the International Rice Conference has become a fixture in the Anuga conference programme. This year, the event attracted numerous participants from industry and trade once again. Sustainable rice cultivation, compliance with legal requirements in key export markets, pesticide and mycotoxin control, and the authenticity of high-quality rice varieties such as basmati, jasmine, sushi, and risotto rice were addressed in eight lectures.

Topics of the International Rice Conference

Werner Nader, Senior Consultant (retd Managing Director) of Eurofins Dr. Specht Express Testing & Inspection GmbH as speaker at the 7th International Rice Conference 2025

Dr Werner Nader, Senior Consultant (retd Managing Director) of Eurofins Dr. Specht Express Testing & Inspection GmbH, speaks at the 7th International Rice Conference about rice authenticity testing via DNA fingerprinting and genetic clustering analysis.

The high-level lecture programme focused on quality, sustainability and trade in the international rice market. Eurofins opened the event with an introduction to its rice testing programme, after which the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP), a global stakeholder alliance, reported on its latest developments and achievements. International experts from the USA, Pakistan and Cambodia then shared insights into the opportunities, challenges and export strategies in their regions.

The latest research findings from the study in cooperation with the UN World Food Programme on the stability of vitamins and minerals in fortified rice and rice kernels were presented. Eurofins rounded off the programme with interesting contributions on residues, contaminants, and cutting-edge authenticity testing using DNA analytics.
